Jason explains the Patreon project

I meant to delay the publication of that last post until I was finished with this video, but I messed up. Oops.

So, sorry for another post on this so soon, but here is Jason with the skinny on the Patreon project. He has enthusiasm issues, as you’ll see…

Visit the Patreon page for more information about supporting the project. You can also go back and read the “What’s a Patreon?” post or just ask me questions below!

    I’ll support you, McAlpin

  2. angelorabbit says:

Done. And would give so much more, but I am a poor high school art teacher, and I can only give so much. :[

  3. Nevin Hillegass says:

I wasn’t sure at first because Jason wasn’t as snarky as I hoped, but then he said that last line. That did it for me. I am in.

    • Gordon McAlpin says:

:) Despite the vest, it’s latter-day Jason: take care of business first, THEN screw around. (And thank you!)

  4. Nick Piers says:

I would. I honestly would. But I’m in the middle of a job hunt, myself. Maybe once I get a steady job.

    • Trisha Lynn says:

Same here. Also, I’m a little weirded out by the fact that Jason isn’t blinking, but he is emoting with his hands and eyebrows.

Gordon: Hey, after a month or two goes by, would you mind if I interviewed you about your Patreon experience?

  5. David Bonnie says:

I’ve enjoyed the comic for quite a few years, I figure I owe you a couple bucks.

    • Gordon McAlpin says:

No one “owes” me — and I appreciate the support more precisely because of that.

      • David Bonnie says:

Just trying to express my appreciation. I’ve got an old-fashioned sense that people deserve to be paid for their work; hence “owed.”
