Trailer Watch: Snow White and the Huntsman full trailer

The trailer for director Rupert Sanders’s dark, action-flick take on Snow White, Snow White and the Huntsman, looks surprisingly good, although I still can’t get over the idea that Kristen Stewart is supposed to be more beautiful than Charlize Theron. But I guess it’s a fantasy movie, so… whatever.

If you want to see more, Xfinity has a five minute preview, as well.

Aside from Ms. Theron and Miss Stewart, Chris Hemsworth plays the Huntsman, and the seven dwarves are Ian McShane, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Graham, Ray Winstone, and Nick Frost. The film hits theaters on June 1, 2012.

Trailer Watch: Ridley Scott’s Prometheus full trailer

Ho-ly shit. Unlike the earlier teaser trailer, this full trailer has a pretty decent indication of the plot of Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, his kinda-sorta Alien prequel, and it’s pretty wicked. Tons of new footage, and yet you stil know there’s a lot they’re holding back. Feast your eyes, kids. This movie’s gonna rock.

Prometheus was written by Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof and Jon Spaihts and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, Charlize Theron and Ben Foster. It hits theaters on June 8, 2012.

Trailer Watch: Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows whaaaaat

I have to admit, I had the cheesiest grin on my face for most of this trailer. This is bat-shit crazy. Between this and the Frankenweenie trailer, maybe Tim Burton has turned his career around (creatively speaking — his awful Alice in Wonderland managed to make a billion dollars worldwide, so it’s hard to say he’s been struggling commercially).

Johnny Depp stars as Barnabas Collins in Tim Burton’s… adaptation(?) of the Dark Shadows soap opera. Helena Bonham Carter, Eva Green, Jackie Earle Haley, Jonny Lee Miller, Bella Heathcote, Gulliver McGrath, and Chloe Moretz round out the cast of the film, which hits theaters on May 11 (or, you know, wait for it to hit cable, Direct tv, or DVD like half the world).

Trailer Watch: The Cabin in the Woods Trailer 2

A new trailer for Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard’s long-delayed Cabin in the Woods has hit the interwebs thanks to FearNET.

The R-rated horror flick stars Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford, and it hits theaters on April 13. You know you’re gonna watch it. Joss Whedon, man. Joss Whedon.
