Hot on the heels of “Detached,” which went online yesterday, comes “Drifting,” a second single-take trailer/clip for Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity. Apparently Warner Brothers has a third coming (most likely) tomorrow.

God this looks good. I can’t imagine how the hell they’re supposed to retrieve Bullock’s character…
From the look of the damage to the shuttle in the previous trailer they’re all toast anyway. I still haven’t the faintest idea how an entire movie can logically proceed from this.
Get to a space station?
Oh, OK, I hadn’t considered that. Unless the cause of the debris that shredded the shuttle is part of the plot, I still don’t see a lot of info from the trailer about what the rest of the movie will be about. As it is, either she’s rescued (hooray!) or dies (*sob*), but either way, not much of a story.
