This looks… SO much better than the first one.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell, Robert Redford and Samuel L. Jackson. It hits theaters on April 4, 2014.

I can’t help but notice the release date is well outside of normal for this kind of action/effects heavy feature. What was the last big action/superhero movie to come out outside of winter/summer blockbuster lineups?

Personally, I loved the first one. This looks great, too, though it looks to have a totally different vibe or theme to it. It’s less earnest Rocketeer and more Borne Identity with superheroes. Which makes sense that it’d be a modern theme for a modern time. I’m in.
