Trailer Watch: Daniel Radcliffe in Kill Your Darlings

I just posted a trailer for a flick with Tom Felton, so I guess it’s only fitting to post one with Daniel Radcliffe now. The erstwhile Harry Potter stars as Allen Ginsberg in a “based on a true story” tale of David Kammerer’s murder by Lucien Carr (in 1944). Rounding out the cast are Dane DeHaan (Chronicle, Amazing Spider-Man 2) as Lucien Carr, Michael C. Hall (Dexter, Six Feet Under) as David Kammerer, Jack Huston (Richard Harrow on Boardwalk Empire) as Jack Kerouac, and Ben Foster as William S. Burroughs.

Director John Krokidas directs from a script he co-wrote with Austin Bunn. The film opens on October 16th in New York and LA; it’ll expand from there… although how much depends on how well it does, of course.

Trailer Watch: Prometheus international launch trailer

We’ve already seen a teaser trailer and a domestic trailer, but this new international trailer goes into a little more depth than what we’ve seen to date. I’ve been optimistic that we’re still having something held back, and I hope that’s still the case, but if you’re nervous about spoiling too much, you might consider not watching this.

Prometheus was written by Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof and Jon Spaihts and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, Charlize Theron and Ben Foster. It hits theaters on June 8, 2012.

Trailer Watch: Ridley Scott’s Prometheus full trailer

Ho-ly shit. Unlike the earlier teaser trailer, this full trailer has a pretty decent indication of the plot of Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, his kinda-sorta Alien prequel, and it’s pretty wicked. Tons of new footage, and yet you stil know there’s a lot they’re holding back. Feast your eyes, kids. This movie’s gonna rock.

Trailer Watch: Ridley Scott’s Prometheus

Yesterday, a trailer for Ridley Scott’s Alien prequel that doesn’t have the Aliens (a.k.a. Xenomorphs) in it hit the internet, and here it is. It’s a tease, to be sure, but the footage we see is pretty damned awesome. Consider my appetite whetted.

Interestingly, Charlize Theron is billed last here, not first, despite her prominence in the trailer. I’ll let others speculate as to why…
