I’ve been drawing Turtles, I guess. Here’s Leonardo.

Because of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer and working on #900 over the last week, I decided to draw Donatello (because he’s the best) for the Patreon backers’ Activity Stream… and then I drew Raphael (because he’s cool but rude)… and by that point I figured I should probably draw all of them, so Michelangelo went up there last night, and here’s Leonardo for everybody to see.

I’m not sure if I’ll draw more characters from the Turtleverse (maybe if enough people ask nicely), but I’ll definitely draw more stuff and share them with you guys either here or there. Feel free to use this as a social media avatar or anything else non-commercial. (I’m using Donatello as my own Twitter avatar lately!)

Original Multiplex art giveaway – for Patrons only!

Scan-140324-0001

As a special thank-you to my Patreon backers, I’m giving away the inked original art for Multiplex #810, one of the Wrath of Khan/Into Darkness smoosh-up strips to one lucky Patreon backer.

PATRONS AS OF APRIL 1ST (or whenever Patreon charges your accounts again next) ARE ELIGIBLE. So for non-Patreon backers reading this, you can sign up and get your name in the proverbial hat. ANY pledge level is eligible.

I will pay for shipping anywhere in the world, and I sure hope I don’t regret saying that. :) I will announce the winner shortly after patrons’ accounts are charged for the month (usually before the 3rd of the month).

Ichigo Kurosaki vs. Samurai Jack

(Please don’t laugh at my complete ignorance of actual swordfighting technique.)

Another commission, this time for Chris Riley, who asked for Ichigo Kurosaki (in his Bankai fighting mode) vs. Samurai Jack. I’ve never seen Bleach, so I don’t know who would win here. Any of you guys have an opinion about this?

Want a sketch from me? You can always get one through the Multiplex Store — or, for the next few days, pledge for the Draw Something Pack in the Book 2 Kickstarter Project.

Jeff Tweedy and Wayne Coyne

Here are a couple of drawings commissioned by one music-loving reader, Tom Spendlove — of Jeff Tweedy (of Wilco, top) and Wayne Coyne (of the Flaming Lips, bottom). I liked how they turned out, so I thought I’d share them with you.

These sketches are in line with the kind of detail you’ll get with the Draw Something Pack in the Book 2 Kickstarter Project, incidentally. Just sayin’. :)
